A new construction in Laval sur la Lac, our team was tasked with taking the architects plans and adjusting the layout, creating a furniture layout and lighting plan, detailing the millwork and finishes as well as communicating our vision through 3D renderings.

A clean minimalist entrance design with wood paneling and an oversized mirror was all that was needed in this modern architectural home.

The powder room was centered around timeless, minimalist design principals. The goal was to create a calming space using natural materials and hidden storage. A ledge at the back serves the purpose of additional storage and allows for a space to lean art and scented oils.

The principal ensuite bathroom echoes the warm, calming finishes found in the powder room. A wall of custom storage behind mirrored doors make this sleek, elegant design practical for daily living.

The girls bathroom was designed for two young girls to share. The material selection is light and airy with a blend of different textures. Although the design appears simple, the storage in this space is abundant. A large soaker tub sits in front of a corner window draped with beautiful linen sheers for added privacy and elegance.

Recessed open shelving was added as well as storage below the vanity and a tall closed cabinet for all those hair tools and beauty products. Small wall sconces provide soft lighting on the face for makeup application.

The boys ensuite bathroom, while smaller in size, does not lack any storage or practicality because of the back wall which was built out to act as a ledge, creating depth for the custom medicine cabinet and mirror. The graphic honeycomb tiles add a sense of subtle playfulness which will stand the test of time and allow the boy to grow into his teen years.

In the basement our clients teenage daughter has her own living suite, complete with an ensuite bathroom. The design feels feminine and dreamy with the use of light fluted wood, a subtle veined marble tile round shapes in the mirror, pendant and vanity chair. An art ledge behind the toilet is the perfect place for her to add her own personal touch.
